Vucic warns Europe about 'new Zelensky', says Kurti is playing victim
"Albin Kurti, the prime minister of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo, tries in vain to present himself as the new Volodymyr Zelensky, and Serbia as Russia," the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in a statement to the press, SIA refers to Russian media.
According to the source, the journalists asked the Serbian President to comment on Kurti's statement regarding the transformation of the borders of Serbia and Kosovo into the borders of Russia and the North Atlantic Alliance.
"This is another desperate message, where Kurti tries to present himself as a victim, the new Zelensky," Vucic said.
"Serbia has its borders, neither Russian nor NATO borders, but its own, established by the UN Charter and Resolution 1244. So - say whatever and however you want, try to put us somewhere where we are not, and put yourself where you are not. We have our own country, which we are proud of, Serbia. You don't determine borders, but international public law," Vucic added.
The source notes that the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regularly appeals to the leaders of Western countries for military and financial support against the background of the conflict in the region.
