The US Senate has amended the draft budget to include provisions for freezing Russian businessmen's assets and transferring them to Kyiv, it was announced at the Senate meeting, SİA reports.
The Senate unanimously passed an amendment that would permit the confiscation and sale of Russian oligarchs' assets, as well as their transfer to Ukraine for humanitarian and military assistance. On Thursday, the Senate will vote on the final budget plan.
