Yemen’s foreign minister has hailed Turkiye’s support to the Yemeni people amid the ongoing civil war in the Arab country.
Ahmad Awad bin Mubarak is set to visit Turkiye on Wednesday for talks with Turkish officials.
The Yemeni Foreign Minister, called on the Iran-backed Houthis to comply with international resolutions in his statement to Anadolu Agency before the visit.
"We welcome Turkiye's support and acceptance of Yemenis alongside Yemen," Mubarak said.
"During the visit, we will discuss cooperation between the two countries, including development, culture, health and humanitarian aid," the Yemeni minister added.
According to Turkish press, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak will be in Turkiye until December 24.
The ceasefire reached in Yemen in April at the initiative of the United Nations (UN) ended on October 2.
