It is important that members of the diaspora come together and show solidarity, the Ambassador of Turkiye to Azerbaijan, Cahit Bagci, told SİA in Shusha.
Bagci said that the forum of heads of state diaspora institutions of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held yesterday in Baku and now in Shusha is extremely important.
Emphasizing that OTS is not only a platform at the level of leaders, the ambassador said that member states play an essential leitmotif role in this organization. According to him, another important point is the participation of Northern Cyprus, an observer member of the OTS, in the current forum.
Bagci also mentioned that some time ago, the Turkish diaspora representatives from the United States discussed issues of cooperation with Azerbaijan.
