The meeting of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Turkmenistan's leaders confirms that very important steps will be taken, said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during his meeting with the Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Turkmenistan Parliament, Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov.
He noted that important decisions were made yesterday at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the three countries held in Avaza.
"The steps we will take in the fields of energy, natural gas, and transport are of great importance. If we lay the foundation today, we will have taken important steps toward the future. This Summit of Turkiye Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan will pass into history as the Avaza Summit," Erdogan stated.
Erdogan also added that Turkmenistan's full membership in the Organization of Turkic States will strengthen the Organization.
