Cargo air transport between Armenia and Turkiye will begin at the end of this year, Turkish media and the Armenian "Sputnik Armenia" confirms this, SIA reports.

According to Armenian media, this does not satisfy Armenians. Why? Because the Armenians say that this shipment will be full of threats for the Armenian side, while it promises benefits for the Turkish side.
Even now, Armenians say that "cheap Turkish products filling the Armenian market create a big competition problem for Armenian producers." In addition, the Armenian-Turkiye trade communication traditionally works in one direction - Armenia imports Turkish products, and there are practically no Armenian products in Turkiye. Therefore, Armenia's economy has nothing to be happy about, just before the start of air transport between Armenia and Turkiye."
According to the Armenian who studied the trade turnover between the two countries some time ago, say that the volume of trade between Armenia and Turkey until September 2020 is about 163 million dollars.
At this time, exports from Armenia reached 490 thousand, and the import of Turkish goods reached 162.3 million. Armenia imported 330 times more Turkish products than it exported to Turkiye.
It is somewhat ridiculous, but the Armenians characterize it as a one-sided game.
In other words, the main player here is supposed to be Turkiye.
Of course, the Armenians are probably right. They don't think they can surprise the Turks with the seasonal tomatoes and cucumbers they export.
