Germany will deliver additional air defense systems to Ukraine, SIA refers to Handelsblatt.
According to the German press, the Rheinmetall group (one of the leading providers of innovative defense and security products for armed and security forces, as well as for civil applications) will send two "Skynex" air defense systems with a total cost of 182 million euros to Kyiv. The system is specified to hit attacking drones or cruise missiles with 35mm ammunition. In addition, the group plans to spend about 12 million euros on trucks for Ukraine.
The costs will be paid by the German government - the question of which budget line they can be paid for is currently being investigated.
