Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu and Italian Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi had a telephone conversation, SIA refers to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' official statement.
The Ministers discussed issues of cooperation in the fields of combating illegal migration, security, gendarmerie and coast guard. During the talks, an agreement was also reached between the two ministries to further strengthen the bilateral relations that have been growing in recent years.
