Over 7 million refugees leave Ukraine for European countries since start of war

According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) calculations, 7,841,359 refugees left Ukraine for Europe from the beginning of military operations on February 24, 2022, to November 15. Over the past week, the figure increased by another 19,050, SİA informs via TASS.

According to the data of UNHCR, most of the refugees left for Russia (2,852,395), Poland (1,497,849), Germany (1,019,789), the Czech Republic (460,415), Italy (173,231), Spain (153,054) ), Bulgaria (145,560), Turkiye (145,000), the UK (143,100), France (118,994), and Slovakia (100,783). In other countries, this number does not exceed 100,000.

Since February 24, 15,354,147 people have left Ukraine for neighboring countries. At the same time, 7,747,450 people crossed the border to Ukraine.
