Azerbaijan shines at Enactus World Cup 2025 with innovative project

The Azerbaijani team made a strong showing at the Enactus World Cup 2025, an international competition aimed at fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and social innovators for sustainable development, held in Bangkok, Thailand, the press service of the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations' Union (ASYOU) told SİA.

According to the service, the country was represented by the “Enactus” team from Karabakh University, supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Competing in the seventh league against teams from Kazakhstan and Puerto Rico for a place among the top sixteen, the Azerbaijani team presented their “BioCrown” project to an international panel of judges and successfully responded to their questions.

The project aims to prevent the harmful effects of chemical fertilizers on soil, human health, and the environment by promoting the production of completely eco-friendly natural fertilizers using local organic waste. It also seeks to restore soil fertility and encourage farmers to transition to sustainable and healthy agriculture. In addition, the project focuses on transforming waste into value, improving social welfare, ensuring food security, and protecting the environment.

During the Enactus World Cup’s Cultural Days, the Azerbaijani team proudly showcased their national music and dance, highlighting the richness of Azerbaijani culture on the global stage.

Notably, Azerbaijan is the only South Caucasus country participating in the Enactus program, which involves over two thousand students from thirty-five countries worldwide.
