The opening free practice session of the Formula One (F1) Azerbaijan Grand Prix has been completed in Baku, SİA reports.
Ten teams, each represented by two drivers, took part in the run on the Baku City Circuit.
In a highly competitive session, McLaren’s British driver Lando Norris secured the fastest time. His teammate, Australian driver Oscar Piastri, finished second, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc from Poland claimed third place.
Later today, the Formula Two (F2) qualifying round will be held, followed by the second free practice of Formula One.
