Dutch referees set to officiate Iceland-Azerbaijan match

The match between the national teams of Iceland and Azerbaijan in the qualification stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be officiated by referees from the Netherlands, SİA reports.

The appointments have been confirmed for the match scheduled to take place on September 5.

The main referee of the game will be Sander van der Eijk. He will be assisted by assistant referees Rens Bluemink and Stefan de Groot.
