Tickets for 9 out of 12 stands for the upcoming Formula 1 World Championship round, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, have already been sold out, SİA informs referring to the Baku City Circuit operating company.
Construction work on the city circuit is almost complete, and interest in the event continues to grow — tickets for 9 out of 12 stands have already been sold out. The organizers expressed interest in more active media coverage of the event.
The Baku city circuit, which hosted the Grand Prix for the first time in 2016, is considered one of the most spectacular in the Formula 1 calendar thanks to the combination of narrow sections in the historical part of the city and a high-speed straight along the Caspian Sea embankment.
This year, the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held from September 19 to 21.
