Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on providing financial support to the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation.
Under the decree, 2 million manats (approximately $1.2 million) have been allocated from the President's Reserve Fund to the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation in connection with the Azerbaijan national team becoming the Champion in the Minifootball World Cup (2025 WMF World Cup).
The Azerbaijan national team defeated the Hungarian team 4:2 in the final match of the 2025 WMF World Cup in Baku.
