On Victory Day, citizens visit the second Alley of Martyrs to honor the memory of the heroes, as two years have passed since the Great Victory in the Patriotic War, according to SİA.
A total of 2,906 people gave their lives for the sake of Motherland in the 44-day war in 2020.
Under the order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 3, 2020, every year the country celebrates November 8 as Victory Day.
