State Customs Committee, US Drug Enforcement Administration's Ankara office representatives held meeting
On October 20, the State Customs Committee held a meeting with the leadership of the Ankara office of the US Drug Enforcement Administration, SIA refers to the institution's press service.
The meeting discussed the business relations between the two institutions, and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in the fight against illegal drug trafficking. The support provided by the US Drug Enforcement Administration to the Azerbaijani customs in terms of strengthening the capacity of employees was highly appreciated, and the importance of the activities of the Azerbaijani customs in the fight against the transportation of drugs from east to west, especially to Europe, was noted.
In addition, the sides exchanged views on expanding the exchange of information and experience, as well as issues of mutual interest.
