Azerbaijan, Iran State Customs Committees held meeting

On October 18, an online meeting was held between the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and Iran.

During the meeting held with the participation of the heads of structural departments responsible for information technologies of both institutions, the issues of strengthening the electronic exchange of information on goods and vehicles in advance were discussed.

The heads emphasized that strengthening the exchange of information between the customs authorities of the two countries will create conditions for more effective risk management in border crossing processes. This is important in terms of speeding up the border crossing process of goods and vehicles, simplifying international transit, and increasing the attractiveness of regional transport corridors, especially the north-south transport corridor.
