According to the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly dated December 18, 2013, July 30 is celebrated annually as the International Day Against Human Trafficking.
In Azerbaijan, many measures are taken to combat this problem. This includes important steps taken within the country regarding this issue, as well as contributions made to an international cooperative level.
"Family World" Social Union of Legal Assistance to Families together with the Zardab District Executive Power held an event dedicated to July 30 International Day of Combating Human Trafficking.
Representatives of the Zardab Delegation of the Youth Development and Career Center and the Zardab Regional Center for Family, Women and Children's Problems also participated in the event. Participants of the event "Be informed so you don't become a victim of human trafficking!", "Young people of Zardab region say no to human trafficking!" with their slogans, held a march in Zardab district center and distributed educational booklets among the onlookers.
