The goal of the project is to develop the knowledge and skills of families in the field of integration of children with special needs into society.
"Legal Aid to Families" Public Union implements the project "Organization of activities of the social rehabilitation center for children with limited health opportunities" in Zardab region based on the social order of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
According to the Public Union, the main goal of the project is to provide social rehabilitation services to 100 children with disabilities by organizing the activities of social rehabilitation centers for children with disabilities, by organizing their protection and achieving opportunities to benefit from services and resources, to develop the knowledge and skills of families in the field of integrating children with special needs into society.
Parents of children with disabilities are also trained in the center on how to behave with them
Social-psychological and medical rehabilitation, abilitation, family support and family education services are provided to children with disabilities in the social service order. The service is generally implemented on the basis of an individualized plan based on the needs of the children. Parents of children with disabilities are also trained in the center about the rules of behavior with their children. They are given medical, social, psychological and other necessary information about special care. Regular support is provided regarding the form of services they use, and the tools they use to adapt their children to society.
