Within the framework of the "Sports for all" project of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, a "Sports Festival" was held among the residents of the capital on the territory of the Big Shore Park on July 29, 2022, organized by the Baku City Youth and Sports General Department.
SIA reports that taekwondo, karate, capoeira and other exemplary sports performances and competitions in athletics, tug-of-war, archery, and darts were organized with the accompany of music at the "Sports Festival".
Certificates were presented to the participants who fulfilled the norms of various sports and programs.
The sports festival aroused great interest of the residents of the capital.
It should be noted that the main goal of organizing a mass sports event is to increase interest in sports among the population, especially children and young people, to encourage a healthy lifestyle, and to organize leisure time effectively.
