The International Media Forum organized by the Media Development Agency and held in Shusha on the occasion of the National Press Day on July 22 on the topic "Global trends in the media, new challenges" was widely covered by Turkiye's Anadolu Agency.

It was brought to attention that Hikmet Hajiyev, the assistant to the President - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Presidential Administration, read the address of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the media representatives of Azerbaijan on the occasion of July 22 - National Press Day.
The agency presented this quote from the address of the head of our state: "Our media resources tirelessly continue their activities to convey the truths of Azerbaijan to the international community, including the unprecedented atrocities and vandalism committed by Armenians on our historical lands during the occupation.
Azerbaijani journalists who have made worthy contributions to the mobilization of our society for the sake of patriotism, high national consciousness and higher goals should always demonstrate principles, uphold the interests of Azerbaijan's statehood in a situation where campaigns based on fake and false information are increasing at the global level, and ensure the rights of our citizens to obtain complete and correct information, for which they should work with all their might for the progress of our society."
It was noted that the opening ceremony attended by the Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ahmet Ismayilov, the Chairman of the Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund Rahman Hajiyev, the Chairman of the Board of the Shusha City State Reserve Department Maftun Abbasov and other officials was also attended by The Deputy Director General of the Anadolu Agency Yusuf Ozhan.
