The search for 6 soldiers who went missing in the Patriotic War continues

Together with the relevant institutions, work is being continued in the direction of determining the identity of the individuals killed in both the First Karabakh and the Second Karabakh war, and taking the necessary measures in this regard.

According to SIA, this was said by Deputy General Prosecutor, Military Prosecutor of the Republic Khanlar Valiyev at the board meeting held at the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic.

He said that he was proud of the fact that intensive operational-investigative measures, urgent investigative actions, numerous expertises were carried out by the employees of the Military Prosecutor's Office together with the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service, and regular work was carried out in this direction by search teams consisting of employees of the Ministries of Defense and Emergency Situations. So far, 2,908 people, including missing military personnel, have been identified and their bodies have been handed over to their families. Operation-investigative measures are being continued in order to determine the whereabouts of the 6 missing servicemen.

"Regular work is also currently being carried out by the search teams. The Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan is investigating the crimes against peace and humanity, war, terrorism, intentional homicide and other crimes committed against our people by the Armenian armed forces and illegal Armenian armed groups. Investigative-operational measures are being continued on the criminal case under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code," said Valiyev.
