During the last monitoring of public catering facilities, wedding halls and restaurants operating in the country, legal measures were taken against public catering facilities that emit more than normal waste into the air and do not operate in accordance with the norms.
It was determined that excessive waste was thrown into the air from catering facilities -"Chirag Palas", "Aphrodite", "Nagil Baghi" operating in Binagadi and Khatai districts of Baku city, "Gubadli", "Yachta" and "Ibiza" public catering facilities operating in Sumgayit, that the atmosphere was polluted with carcinogenic substances.
Based on the requirements of Article 234 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the facts, a protocol was drawn up and a fine was imposed on the operators of the mentioned restaurants and wedding halls.
The State Environmental Security Service once again calls on the operators of catering facilities to ensure that the technical indicators of the cleaning facilities in their facilities meet the standards.
Currently the monitoring and control measures are continued in public catering facilities in the country.
