On June 16, the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Development and Diplomacy of ADA University jointly organized a seminar on "Journalism and Column Writing".
Experts from MEDIA Agency, Baku State University and ADA University took part in the seminar, which was attended by representatives of more than 20 print and online media entities, SIA reports.
Genres of narrative journalism and the experience of column writing were explored in the training.
Presentations were made on the following topics: "article or columnism?", "Struggle for women's rights and gender equality in Azerbaijani journalism", "Artistic journalism, editing and hypertext in the context of convergence to new media", "The structure of journalistic writing in Western journalism, the ethical rules of commentary"
