Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AQTA) has announced the results of monitoring of energy drinks.
As part of the control measures, monitoring was carried out to determine whether the energy drinks and a number of other drinks provided to consumers in the sales networks are energy drinks, as well as compliance with the rules, SIA reports.
For this purpose, laboratory analysis was carried out by taking samples from energy drinks produced and imported in our country and a number of other beverages.
According to the results of the investigation, although the Lyon trademark produced by Ayan LLC was confirmed to be an energy drink, a decision was made to recall the product from the sales network and comply with the labeling requirements due to non-compliance with the labeling information and labeling legislation.
Investigations are currently underway. The public will be informed about the results.
