On June 13, 2022, an event on "Salvation Day of the Azerbaijani state" was held in Pirallahi district on June 15 - National Salvation Day.
According to SIA, the event was attended by the head of the Executive Power Vasif Imanov, MP Javid Osmanov, editor-in-chief of "SES" newspaper Bahruz Guliyev, chairman of the YAP Pirallahi regional organization Emil Abasov and representatives of the local community.
The event began with a wreath-laying ceremony in front of the bust of Heydar Aliyev in the lobby of the District Executive Power. First, our national anthem was played, and the memory of the National Leader and our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence. A film dedicated to the life and activity of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was then shown.
Speaking at the event, the head of the Pirallahi District Executive Power Vasif Imanov noted that the Azerbaijani people accept Heydar Aliyev not only as a political leader, but also as the sole author of the ideology of national statehood. Because there is no Azerbaijani statehood outside the political course of Heydar Aliyev. The events that took place in our country in 1990-1993 showed that the salvation of Azerbaijan is only in the ideas of the great leader. Azerbaijan was in danger of losing its independence, which was then restored in 1991. Anarchy and chaos reigned in our country. Our lands were being occupied, Azerbaijan was being dragged to destruction. Our country was in real danger of disintegration.
In short, salvation became an inevitable necessity in Azerbaijan. Only a genius such as our National Leader Heydar Aliyev could have achieved this salvation. It was this historic return that preserved the existence, independence and statehood of Azerbaijan, saved the country from disintegration and civil war. Emphasizing that Heydar Aliyev and the Azerbaijani ideology are the main line of the independent Azerbaijani state, the speaker brought to the attention of the event participants that, our people are closely united around President Ilham Aliyev, the political successor of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who has a special place in world politics as an energetic and enterprising person.
Speaking about the relations between Turkiye and Azerbaijan, which were with us in the 44-day war, as always, Turkish-Azerbaijani friendship is eternal. Vasif Imanov also noted that a year has passed since the signing of the Shusha Declaration.
MP, member of the Parliamentary Committee on Regional Affairs Javid Osmanov stated that the world-famous statesman Heydar Aliyev, who was attached to his homeland all his life, has been immortalized in our modern history. During all the years that he led Azerbaijan, thinking of the welfare of our people and working tirelessly for this supreme cause, he always gained love in the hearts and immortality in the memories. Great leader Heydar Aliyev, who possessed high leadership qualities, ensured stability in the country in a short time, eliminated the existing and potential threats to our independence and sovereignty. He defined Azerbaijan's national development strategy with demonstrating a unique strategic vision.
The unique development strategy, the main components of which are stability, the creation of a national economic system and the building of a national army, has ensured the country's continued success and the solution of the most important issue of our national security. The fact that the rapid development of Azerbaijan, associated with the name of Heydar Aliyev, continues today with high dynamics, conclusively proves that the strategy of growth that began then has fulfilled the concept of statehood, which covers a large period of time.
Bahruz Guliyev, editor-in-chief of SES newspaper, founder and head of SES Media Group, stated that great personalities write their names in history forever by advancing political, economic and other processes for the benefit of their people. Every nation is proud of its historical figures and has great respect for their heritage. The people of Azerbaijan have always proudly remembered Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of our modern state, a genius leader who did great and irreplaceable work for the independence and development of his people and country, and who also influenced the historical processes in this regard. The national leader was not only a historical figure who solved the fateful problems of the Azerbaijani people and state, but also a person who created history. Bahruz Guliyev stressed that the young people who grew up with the spirit of patriotism, who grew up during the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, have an exceptional contribution to the liberation of our lands.
In his speech, the chairman of the YAP Pirallahi regional organization Emil Abasov said that the foresight, wisdom and selflessness of the Great Leader raised him to the leadership not only of the Azerbaijani people but all Azerbaijanis around the world, and his life became a shining example of service to the motherland. National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who devoted his entire life to his people and homeland, entered the history of the Azerbaijani people as the architect and founder of our independence.
At the end of the event, Sadikhov Samir son of Farman, who was awarded the medal "For the release of Fuzuli" by the relevant order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was awarded a medal by the head of the Executive Power and photographed with the families of martyrs and veterans.
