"Preparations for the upcoming summer beach season have been completed at the public beaches created in the coastal areas of Baku on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union." The statement came from Baku City Executive Power spokesman Matin Huseynov.
He said that these beaches, which have been operating for 4 years in Sahil, Buzovna, Novkhani, Goredil and Pirshagi settlements of the Absheron Peninsula, Sabail district, "Shikh" beach area - a total of 6 places were created after the appeals of the city residents to Leyla Aliyeva, as an alternative to the existing private recreation centers and beaches in the coastal areas of the capital: "The conditions created here and, most importantly, the free service have won the sympathy of Baku residents and guests of our city. On the eve of the beach season, the public beaches have been cleaned. The inventory on the beaches, logs, chat rooms, sanitary facilities and showers on the beaches are being inspected, put in order, current repair work is being carried out, and a number of places are being painted.
At the same time, areas without official beaches have not been left out of control, and district executive authorities and utilities will monitor the cleanliness of these areas. Rescue stations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as medical centers will be established on public beaches. "
