Today, Salyan District Executive Power, New Azerbaijan Party Salyan District Organization, Salyan District Youth and Sports Department and Azerbaijan Shooting Federation jointly organized the celebration of National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birth in order to commemorate the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The "Sharp Shooter-2022" shooting competition dedicated to the 99th anniversary was held. SIA reports that the event was attended by the head of the Salyan District Executive Power Sevindik Hatamov and representatives of the public, Olympic Champion in Shooting, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Shooting Federation and the National Olympic Committee Zemfira Meftaheddinova, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Shooting Federation Tofig Baylarov, Olympic medalist, head coach of the national sports team, honorable coach Irada Ashumova, chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party's Salyan regional branch Elmar Ahmadov and activists of the New Azerbaijan Party's Salyan regional organization, head of the Salyan region's Youth and Sports Department Araz Huseynov and Salyan region's Youth and Sports Department, Ilkin Ahmadli, the coach-instructor of the Shooting Federation in Salyan region, and teenagers, youth and adults involved in the sport of shooting.
At the end, the winners of the "Shooter-2022" shooting competition dedicated to the 99th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev were awarded diplomas of the Salyan Youth and Sports Department and medals and gifts of the New Azerbaijan Party Salyan regional organization.
