Prosecutor General's Office held conference in Lankaran - PHOTOS

On April 28, the Prosecutor General's Office organized a business conference in Lankaran entitled "Dialogue with the media in the challenges of modern times." According to SIA, the conference was organized to establish operative and effective cooperation between government agencies and non-governmental organizations and the regional media. - Representatives of the Agency for State Support to Governmental Organizations, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children and the Press Council attended.

The conference participants, including officials from Astara, Bilasuvar, Jabrayil, Jalilabad, Lerik, Lankaran, Masalli, Yardimli districts and Lankaran Military Prosecutor's Offices, first visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of Lankaran.

Then the conference participants visited the "Martyrs' Memorial Complex" dedicated to the memory of the martyrs, laid flowers on the graves and paid tribute to their memory.

Within the framework of the event, a press tour was organized to the administrative building of the Lankaran District Prosecutor's Office with the participation of representatives of media organizations and non-governmental organizations. Informed about the infrastructure of the office building, the participants of the press tour got acquainted with the working conditions created for employees in the office building, as well as forensic vehicles and equipment. The participants were informed in detail about the measures taken by the prosecutor's office to ensure openness and transparency, citizen satisfaction.

Before the conference, the memory of the sons of the fatherland who died for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence. Lankaran District Prosecutor Taryel Alakbarov spoke about the importance of the business conference organized to ensure information security.

Speaking at the event, Vugar Aliyev, Chief of the Special Procurement Coordination Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, noted that comprehensive work was done to strengthen the social media activities of the prosecutor's office in accordance with the requirements of the time. Speaking about the communication strategy of the Prosecutor General's Office for 2021-2023, Senior Prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office Kanan Zeynalov said that in order to ensure citizen satisfaction, the prosecutor's office is sensitive to appeals, inquiries and suggestions was received through social media accounts.

During the event, spokesmen of a number of government agencies also made speeches and made proposals on the prospects of joint cooperation.

Afterwards, the sides exchanged views on establishing operative and effective cooperation between government agencies, non-governmental organizations and regional media.
