"In general, the killing of a fiancé, a divorced woman, is mainly observed by suspects or in men with mental disorders. There are people who, even a few years after the divorce, tend to commit violence or crimes against their wives. This is due to the influence of people around them".
The statement came from psychologist Vusala Amiraslanova.
According to her, men often become violent when they see another man next to a woman who is divorced and has a child with him: "Of course, this is a common occurrence in Azerbaijani society. Such cases are not unequivocally welcomed. "Negative attitude towards each other leads to hateful words. This causes couples to separate as enemies."
"If there is a child, there must be psychological support. Parents must respect the decision of the couple as well, instead of saying irritating and hateful words to each other " she said.
