The World Congress of the World Employment Services Association (WAPES) is being held in Tallinn, Estonia. According to the MLSPP press service, the delegation of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population will represent our country at the congress on "Problems of employment services and innovative approaches in the constantly changing labor market."
The congress, held every three years in a different member country, will determine WAPES board members, regional vice-presidents and presidents for the next three years.
The event will feature a presentation by a delegation of the State Employment Agency for member countries on "Experience of employment services in the use of artificial intelligence in the provision of technological innovations and services."
During the congress, Mustafa Abbasbayli, Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency, and Milis Paavel, Director of the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund, signed an Action Plan for 2022 between the two organizations. The Action Plan covers the exchange of information, cooperation and organization of joint workshops on vocational and self-employment issues.
On the first day of the Congress, M.Abbasbeyli and Director of the Turkish Business Association Oguz Kagan Guldogan exchanged views on future joint activities of the two brotherly countries in the field of employment.
