The Karabakh Revival Foundation has organized a business meeting on the restoration of ecological balance, biodiversity and the idea of "Green Karabakh" in the liberated territories. According to the information given by the press service of the Foundation to SIA, the event was attended by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, member of the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Foundation Mukhtar Babayev and representatives of donor companies who have donated to the Foundation since its inception.
Welcoming the guests, Chairman of the Karabakh Revival Foundation Rahman Hajiyev thanked the guests for participating in a discussion meeting to contribute to sustainable settlement and development in the region through the implementation of joint measures to restore ecological balance and natural objects in the liberated territories. Emphasizing that the forest fund of Azerbaijan was subjected to environmental terror during the occupation and the enemy looted the region's natural resources, the chairman showed the guests a video "Ecocide in Karabakh" and a presentation on the Foundation's steps in this regard.
Taking part in the event, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev noted that the union within the framework of such initiatives will support a sustainable future in Karabakh. The sides also exchanged views on promoting a culture of corporate donation. In the end, the donors donating to the Karabakh Revival Fund to support the work in our liberated territories are the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, PASHA Bank OJSC, Aurora Group, Stevedoring LLC, the Ministry of Emergency Situations Trade Union, the Heydar Aliyev Modern Education Complex, Gilan Holding and Libraff were awarded Certificates of Donation, and all participants were presented with symbolic tree seedlings in accordance with the purpose of the meeting.
