An e-personal account was opened in the first quarter of 2022 through the e-service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population with the proactive assignment of social insurance numbers (SSN) to 34,605 people. According to the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, this e-service, which was launched two years ago, serves to proactively register the insured in the electronic system. From the moment the notice of the employment contract concluded with the first-time employee is registered in the e-system, the SSN is automatically opened for the employee.
This creates an electronic personal account for the employee in the individual accounting system and provides participation in the social insurance system, and allows the individual to accumulate pension capital for future social security in the personal account.
Since the launch of the service, a total of 399.3 thousand social insurance numbers have been issued to open electronic personal accounts.
