As part of the visit, a documentary film about our brave sons and martyrs who fought during the Second Karabakh-Patriotic War, prepared on the initiative of M. Efendiyev, was shown to students and teachers at the secondary school No. 6 in Laki settlement, Agdash district, SIA reports.
First of all, the souls of our martyrs who died for the sovereignty of Azerbaijan were commemorated with deep respect.
The MP noted that the soldiers of the Muzaffar Azerbaijani Army, who wrote the history of Azerbaijan with their own blood, liberated our lands from the enemy in the Second Karabakh-Patriotic War under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. made. Unfortunately, this war did not pass without casualties. About three thousand heroes of Azerbaijan rose to the peak of martyrdom for the freedom of our lands, thousands of our heroes won the title of veterans.
Then the MP informed about the high attention and care shown by President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva to the families of martyrs and veterans, as well as new draft laws adopted by the National Parliament in this direction. As part of the work carried out in this direction, your documentary about our brothers, who voluntarily went to the front from the Goychay-Agdash constituency No. 89 with enthusiasm, enthusiasm and patriotism, fought heroically against the enemy and rose to the peak of martyrdom, has always been heroic. expressed confidence that he would contribute to the commemoration. After the presentation of the film, the participants thanked Mazahir Efendiyev for this initiative and stressed that they will spare no effort to promote the film in the region. At the same time, as part of the visit, a reception was held at the secondary school No. 6 in Laki settlement. The citizens who came to the reception mainly appealed on various issues such as social issues, pensions, social benefits, household problems. Several issues were resolved on the spot with the participation of representatives of relevant authorities. Issues related to the powers of deputies have been taken under control and appropriate steps have been taken to resolve them within the framework of the legislation. It should be noted that about 40 voters attended the reception.
