"A hearing on gender equality was held at the parliament. Many proposals were made during the hearing," Chair of the Parliamentary Committee for Family, Women's and Children's Affairs, Hijran Huseynova said at a conference "The role of civil society in promoting gender equality and women's rights."
According to her, the committee members prepared a draft amendment to the law on gender equality and submitted it to the leadership.
