Azerbaijan continues taking security measures in its territories liberated from occupation thanks to the successful counteroffensives launched by the country’s Army on 27 September 2020.
Under the relevant presidential decree, a curfew was declared in Kalbajar district liberated from occupation on November 26, the Interior Ministry’s press service told AzVision.az.
The interior minister of Azerbaijan signed an order on appointing Chief of the Kalbajar District Police Department, Lieutenant Colonel Hakhverdi Akbarov as Commandant of the district.
According to the Ganja regional group of the Interior Ministry’s press service, police posts were established at the entrance/exit of Kalbajar district. Employees of the Kalbajar District Police Department and servicemen of the Interior Troops monitor compliance with the requirements of the curfew declared in the district.
