Azerbaijani President has signed an order on awarding energy sector employees in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, SIA reports.
Bayramov Kazim was awarded third class “Labor” Order, Abbasov Zakir and Orujov Nusrat was awarded ''Taraggi'' (''Progress'') Medal for long-term activity in the energy sector in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
''Taraggi'' Medal
The Taraggi Medal ("Progress Medal'') is the state award of Azerbaijan Republic. The award was created by Heydar Aliyev, on December 6, 1993 by the Decree No. 758.
The Taraggi Medal is given to:
- Citizens of Azerbaijan Republic
- Foreign nationals and non-citizens of Azerbaijan Republic
- People without citizenship
The medal is given to distinguished persons for the following services:
- Special contributions in the sphere of industry and agriculture;
- Revelation and innovatory proposals of the great importance;
- Special contributions in the sphere of science, culture, literature, arts, public education and health;
- Special contributions on building and reconstruction of agricultural objects;
- Productive activity in development of physical culture and sport.
The Taraggi medal is pinned to the left side of the chest and if there are other medals or orders of Azerbaijan Republic the Taraggi medal is followed Medal for Courage.
''Labor'' Order
The Order of Labor of the Republic of Azerbaijan awards the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, foreigners and stateless persons for their labor achievements aimed at the development and welfare of the Republic of Azerbaijan in any field of activity.
These citizens are awarded this Order for long-term productive work in industry, agriculture, construction, transport, trade, crafts, services and other areas, with outstanding achievements in science, education, health, culture, physical education, sports and other fields.
This award is also awarded for productivity in production and improvement of product quality, high-quality production, continuous, efficient use of new techniques, technology, inventions and rationalization proposals.
