Azerbaijan has managed to create a solid legacy at both COP29 and WUF13, Yalchin Rafiyev, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, told journalists during the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, SİA informs.
Rafiyev underlined that Azerbaijan does not classify international partners by importance, noting:
"Each organization has its own specialization. We can categorize them according to topics that Azerbaijan considers priorities. Currently, climate and urbanization are special priorities for the country, and Azerbaijan plays an important role in building bridges between these issues. The international community also recognizes this. Therefore, I would not consider any international partner less important than another, especially given the role of multilateral diplomacy in Azerbaijan"s foreign policy. Of course, prioritization is possible depending on the topic."
He emphasized that Azerbaijan has created a strong legacy at both COP29 and WUF13:
"We will continue our efforts to preserve this legacy."
