Azerbaijan has actively participated in negotiations on the preparation of a decision related to the Special Report on climate change and cities, Umayra Taghiyeva, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, said at an event within the framework of WUF13.
According to Report, she noted that work on the 7th Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is ongoing, and the report is expected to be presented by the end of 2029.
"Azerbaijan actively participated in negotiations on the preparation of a decision related to the Special Report on climate change and cities. The event held within WUF13 is also an important platform to support ongoing discussions on this report, taking into account the views of all participants," she said.
