The “Angel Investors School” project has been successfully held in Baku with the partnership of Azercell Telecom, reflecting the company’s commitment to the development of the country’s innovation and investment ecosystem.
The project focused on building a new generation of investors, enhancing their practical skills and theoretical knowledge, as well as promotinga sustainable investment culture across the country.
Over the three-day program, participants attended investor training sessions and took part in an Investment Summit.
Representing Azercell, George Held, Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO), highlighted the company’s ongoing support for entrepreneurship and innovation in Azerbaijan:

More than 500 potential investors participated in the event, gaining valuable insights into legal frameworks, risk management, investment strategies, and portfolio diversification. The summit also featured presentations by local startups, panel discussions, and talks delivered by international experts.
At the conclusion of the program, five selected participants earned the opportunity to join the Silicon Valley Tour in the United States.
