Construction work in Zangilan city and Shukurbayli village of Jabrayil nears completion, says Special Representative
Currently, construction works in the city of Zangilan and in the Shukurbayli village of the Jabrayil district are nearing completion, said Vahid Hajiyev, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Zangilan, Gubadli, and Jabrayil districts, at the conference themed “Five Years of Victory: Triumph of Statehood and Law,” APA reports.
He stated that construction works are continuing in the Soltanli village of the Jabrayil district, the Mahruzlu and Zilanli villages of the Gubadli district, and the Jahangirbeyli village of the Zangilan district.
V. Hajiyev noted that today the liberated Karabakh and East Zangezur have turned into a space of innovative and sustainable development, and the cities and villages that were razed to the ground during the occupation are being restored: “Airports, roads, bridges, tunnels, and other facilities are being constructed, and electricity and water lines are being laid. One of the new models of Azerbaijan’s future development is being formed in the region. Internally displaced persons are returning to their native ancestral lands. Our former IDPs have already settled in the Aghali and Mammadbeyli villages of the rebuilt Zangilan district, as well as in the 1st residential complex of the city of Jabrayil and in the village of Horovlu.”
