Azerbaijan’s DOST Agency hosted a visiting Serbian delegation led by Minister of Family Welfare and Demography Jelena Zarić Kovacević to discuss expanding cooperation in social protection and public service delivery, SİA reports.
The delegation toured the Baku DOST Center No. 1, where they observed the “one-stop-shop” model that provides more than one hundred sixty types of social services to citizens. During the meeting, DOST Agency Chairman Farid Mammadov outlined recent reforms in Azerbaijan’s labor and social welfare sectors and highlighted the DOST model as a cornerstone of those efforts.
A presentation on the agency’s operations was shown to the Serbian officials, followed by discussions on potential joint initiatives and the exchange of expertise in public service innovation.
