Statistics are a key tool for evaluating Azerbaijan's development, Prime Minister Ali Asadov stated at the 3rd CIS International Statistical Forum held in Baku under the theme "Prospects of Statistics: International Projects," SİA informs.
He emphasized that statistics provide the foundational basis not only for economic analysis but also for forecasting the past, present, and future of all sectors of society: "To assess development, we need concrete statistical data, figures, and diagrams. The Azerbaijani government uses this information daily-even hourly."
The Prime Minister added that digital transformation, IT technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI) are making statistics more precise, agile, and accessible: "This forum's discussions on new projects and approaches will contribute to further advancement of the field."
