President Ilham Aliyev orders erection of monument to prominent architect Ajami Nakhchivani in Nakhchivan
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree for the erection of a monument to prominent architect Ajami Nakhchivani, SİA reports.
Under the decree, the monument will be erected in the city of Nakhchivan to honor the memory of the great artist and influential figure in Azerbaijan’s medieval architecture.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, has been instructed to ensure the implementation of measures related to the erection of the monument. The Cabinet of Ministers has also been tasked with addressing all matters arising from the order.
