Online registration has officially opened for Baku Climate Action Week 2025 (BCAW2025), SİA reports.
The highly anticipated second edition of the climate week will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from September 29 to October 3, building on the success of the first BCAW held in 2024.
Mukhtar Babayev, President of COP29, highlighted the significance of the event, saying, “As the global community prepares for COP30 in Brazil, BCAW2025 demonstrates Azerbaijan’s sustained leadership and commitment in climate action to the world.”
COP29 High-Level Champion Nigar Arpadarai added, “BCAW2025 shows that we are continuing the strategic course set to promote the ‘green’ transition in our region and building on the legacy of COP29.”
BCAW2025 will serve as a key event on the regional climate calendar, bringing together global leaders, experts, investors, entrepreneurs, youth, and communities to focus on climate solutions. The program includes a three-day High-Level International Conference as well as citywide events spanning policy, energy, science, finance, youth entrepreneurship, education, fashion, sports, culture, and more.
Many of the events will be open to the public, though registration or tickets may be required, while others will be held by invitation or privately.
