Sabina Aliyeva, Azerbaijan's Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsperson), attended an international seminar in Nanjing, China, on “Effective Ombudsmanship for People's Livelihood”, SİA reports.
During the seminar, Aliyeva highlighted the development of strategic relations between Azerbaijan and China and emphasized the broad opportunities to deepen cooperation in the field of human rights protection.
In her speech, the Ombudsperson provided detailed information on the activities of Azerbaijan’s national human rights institution, including the mechanisms that allow citizens to submit complaints easily and without obstacles, legal awareness initiatives, and measures to protect the rights of vulnerable groups.
Her presentation was met with strong interest and high appreciation from the international delegates attending the seminar.
