Today, July 22, marks the 150th anniversary of Əkinçi, the first Azerbaijani-language newspaper, launched in 1875 by Hasan bey Zardabi. Widely regarded as the cornerstone of Azerbaijani journalism, this publication played a crucialrole in the national enlightenment movement.
On the occasion of National Press and Journalism Day, Azercell Telecomoffers a complimentary 5GB internet package to all “Mediacell” tariff subscribers and media representatives who participated in the Second Karabakh War. The data package will remain valid for 30 days.
