Azerbaijan relocates another group of former IDPs to Kangarli-PHOTO
The next groups of former internally displaced persons are returning to the village of Kangarli in the Aghdam district, SİA reports.
At this stage, 48 families (207 people) are returning to Kangarli, as well as 27 families (112 people) from Baku city, 15 families (66 people) from Aghdam district, 3 families (10 people) from Barda district, 1 family (7 people) from Absheron district, 1 family (6 people) from Yevlakh city, 1 family (6 people) from Mingachevir city.
28 families (119 people) relocated from Baku city and Absheron district were seen off at 07:00 AM in front of the school at the “Gobustan Park-3” IDP settlement in Garadagh district by representatives of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and Aghdam District Executive Authority.
20 families (88 people) who had been settled in Yevlakh and Mingachevir cities, as well as in Aghdam and Barda districts, will be seen off from their current locations and will join the relocation convoy at the checkpoint located in Tazakand village of Aghdam district to move together;
The transport convoys of the relocated persons will be welcomed by employees of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, and necessary measures will be taken regarding their settlement in residential areas, and will be widely covered in mass media;
Thus, taking into account the relocation on 27.05.2025, a total of 157 families (694 people) have been relocated to Kangarli village of Aghdam district.
