Azerbaijan supports the active participation of young people in the process of building a state based on the rule of law and civil society, Commissioner for Human Rights of Azerbaijan (Ombudsperson) Sabina Aliyeva said at the opening of the Forum "Sovereignty and Constitution: With the Youth to the Future", held within the "Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty," SİA informs.
According to her, the main goal of the event is to increase legal knowledge among young people, to form a patriotic spirit in them and to promote their development as citizens with knowledge, thinking and loyalty to national values in accordance with the challenges of our time:
"The youth of independent Azerbaijan are the present and future of our country. The protection of our constitution and sovereignty, respect for human rights and the maintenance and development of the principles of the rule of law are in the hands of young people, who become educated and professional specialists. We consider it important and support the active participation of young people in the process of building a state based on the rule of law and civil society."
