Today, the Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan) will consider the issue of reappointing Kamran Aliyev to the position of Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan.
According to SİA, relevant amendments have been made to the session’s agenda.
The issue was already reviewed earlier today at the meeting of the Committee on Legal Policy and State Building and has been recommended for discussion at the plenary session.
Kamran Aliyev was appointed Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan by a presidential decree dated May 1, 2020. His current term is set to expire tomorrow.
